Ballard ~ Scarborough

Ira and Cathy Ballard of Kannapolis announce the engagement of their daughter, Lara Marie Ballard, to Justin Caleb Scarborough, both of Kannapolis.
Lara is the granddaughter of Opal Burris of Kannapolis and Junior Kelly of Concord. A graduate of South Rowan High School and Cabarrus College of Health Sciences, she is a registered nurse.
Justin is the son of William “Frank” and Linda Scarborough of China Grove and grandson of Myrtle Braswell of Salisbury and Nancy Scarborough of China Grove. A graduate of Carson High School, he is employed by the Kannapolis Police Dept.
The wedding is Oct. 6 at Jackson Park United Methodist Church in Kannapolis.
