Greene ~ Senko

RALEIGH — Katherine Elizabeth Greene and David Scott Senko of Raleigh were united in marriage June 23, 2012, at The State Club.
The Rev. Larry Bolick of Salisbury officiated the five p.m. ceremony, which was followed by a dinner reception.
The bride was escorted by her father, John J. Greene. Attending as maid of honor was Kristen Williams of Carrboro. Bridesmaids were Julie Cook and Kathryn Spera of Raleigh, Lyndsi Greene, sister-in-law of the bride, of Concord, Branan Hackney of Chapel Hill, Amanda McNabb of Durham and  Dana Senko, sister of the groom, of Cary.
Best man was Daniel W. Senko, father of the groom. Groomsmen were Tobias Blackburn, Kyle Davis, Justin Sorrell, all of Raleigh, David Buchanan of Cary, and Andrew Greene, brother of the bride, of Concord.
Flower girl was Ruby Senko, cousin and godchild of the groom, and ring bearer was Cooper Greene, nephew of the bride.
Scripture readers were Andrew Senko, uncle and godfather of the groom, of Cary, and Laura Jackson Warren, cousin of the bride, of Fernandina Beach, Fla. Stephanie Brincefield and Brandy Albracht Rider of Dallas, Texas, were program attendants. Serving as greeters were Gina McKee of Asheboro and Melissa Pollock of Charlotte. Carolyn Glasgow of Salisbury was ceremony director.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John J. Greene of Salisbury and the granddaughter of the late Dominic and Naomi Greene and the late George and Lena Mae Hemmel. A graduate of Salisbury High School, Katie received a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a Master of Accounting degree from North Carolina State University, where she was a member of Delta Zeta sorority. A Certified Public Accountant, she is the manager of Financial Reporting for Duke University.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel W. Senko of Cary and the grandson of Shirley Herlihy, John M. Senko, Lois Battistoni and Dr. Richard A. Schivley. A graduate of Green Hope High School in Cary, David received a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from North Carolina State University and an MBA degree from Campbell University. He is the Planning and Financial Operations Analyst for Arysta LifeScience.
Following a wedding trip to St. Lucia, the couple are making their home in Raleigh.
