Lauren Elizabeth Graham

Lauren Elizabeth Graham of Salisbury graduated with a Master of Science in Public Health from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte on May 12, 2012.  
A member of the UNCC Graduate Public Health Association and the North Carolina Public Health Association, Lauren’s graduate thesis was, “The Association Between Maternal Pre-pregnancy Body Mass Index and Cesarean Section Delivery: A Retrospective Cohort of 2008-2009 NC PRAMS Participants” which is currently in press.  She presented research at the 2011 North Carolina Public Health Association Annual Education Conference.  
While at UNC-Charlotte, Lauren was a graduate research assistant and co-authored with Dr. Larissa B. Huber and Katie Cooper, “Identifying Factors Related to Adherence to an Optimal Oral Contraceptive Regimen,” which is currently in press. She also completed an internship at the Rowan County Health Department.
A 2006 graduate and salutatorian of West Rowan High School, Lauren is the daughter of Gary L. and Angela Graham of Salisbury.  Lauren is a 2010 honor graduate from Catawba College, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and minor in English. She is employed with Piedmont Family Medicine and plans to pursue enrollment in a physician assistant program.
