Chickweed ~ Celebrating Indestructible Women is an open-air evening of music, art, massage, and more to benefit the Rowan Family Crisis Council’s Women’s Shelter.
The event will be held on Saturday July 14, at the Looking Glass Black Box Theatre, 405 N. Lee St. from 6:30-11:30 p.m. Doors open at 6 p.m.
The all-women revue at the Looking Glass Black Box Theatre will be featuring performances by:

There will be door prizes and concessions. Tickets are $8 and can be purchased in advance at Pottery 101 (101 S. Main St.) or Southern Spirit Gallery (102 S. Main St.). The ticket donation is a minimum of $10 at the door.
Chickweed will also collect donated items per the Rowan Family Crisis Council “Wish List” (www.familycrisiscouncil.org). People who are interested in donating can bring items to the event and Chickweed will deliver to the center.
The Family Crisis Council of Rowan County is a non-profit agency that specializes in helping those affected by rape, incest, sexual assault, and domestic violence.
