CLEVELAND — The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for western Rowan County until 5 p.m.
Doppler radar indicates the area near Cleveland could see damaging winds in excess of 60 miles per hour with quarter-sized hail.
People in that area are advised to seek shelter inside an interior room.
