Grandparents are Sue Corbett of China Grove and Vicki Hayes of Southington, Conn. Great-grandparent is Marcine Peacock of Gold Hill.

A son, Charlie William, was born to Derek and Suzanne Corriher White of Kannapolis on June 12, 2012, at Carolinas Medical Center NorthEast. He weighed 7 pounds, 12 ounces. He has a sister, Emma, 2. Grandparents are Alan and Anne Corriher of China Grove and Arthur White of Greensboro. Great-grandparents are Doris Hileman of Kannapolis, James H. and Margaret Corriher of Mooresville and Mary Ruth White of Holden Beach.
