SALISBURY — A Catawba Drive man who told deputies he was robbed by former friends last month has been arrested on several drug charges.
According to the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office, Jared Charbonneau was taken into custody at his probation office May 19 and charged with two counts of felony trafficking heroin or opium and felony probation violation.

He said Hashemzadeh got out of the car, pointed a handgun at him and grabbed the cash Charbonneau was holding.
Fulcher was charged with felony aiding and abetting. Hashemzadeh was charged with felony robbery with a dangerous weapon.
