Break in, candy theft bring charges
SALISBURY — A Spencer man faces felony charges after being accused of breaking into a home and stealing $1 worth of candy Saturday.
The Rowan County Sheriff’s Office has charged Harry Alex Butler, 30, with felony breaking and entering and larceny after breaking and entering.
An arrest warrant said he entered a Woodbury Drive residence and got away with a pack of Warheads Extreme sour candy.
Butler was being held in the Rowan County Detention Center on Sunday under a $7,500 bond.
