SALISBURY — A Salisbury woman who was killed in a crash on her birthday in January had a .31 blood alcohol content, according to a toxicology report.
Charlotte Anne Strube Lambert, of Shore Acres Road, was killed Jan. 14 when authorities said her 2005 GMC sports utility vehicle went off the right side of the road, hit a culvert and overturned.
Lambert, who was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected.
She had taken that Friday, Jan. 13, off of work to celebrate her 38th birthday, her supervisor said.
Troopers said at that time that alcohol was believed to be a factor.
A toxicology report said Lambert had 310 mg/dL, or .31 percent blood alcohol content, in her system after the crash, nearly four times the legal limit of .08 percent.
