15th Annual Run/Walk for the Greenway 5K (Knox Middle School/ Salisbury Greenway) • 8 a.m.-race begins • 8:45 a.m.-Fun Run, children 12 and under • $20 pre-registration by 7/19 • $25 day of race.

First Prince and Princess Pageant (Miller Center): 4 p.m. • Ages: 12 and under • $50; deposit of $10 must be made during registration to reserve a spot
Aug. 8-10
Carolina Artist Expo (Civic Center): $20 members with 3 entries • $30 non-members with three entries • $5 each additional .
Aug. 25
Doggie Pool Party (Lincoln Pool) • 10 a.m.-noon for dogs under 25 pounds. • Noon-2 p.m. for dogs 26 pounds and over • $3 per dog. Raffles, refreshments available and vendors on site.
June 18-Aug. 15
Summer Playground Program: Monday-Friday 10 a.m.-1 p.m., • Jersey City and Lincoln Park.
