Spencer graduates from OCS

Cameron W. Spencer graduated from Officer Candidate School (OCS) at Fort Benning, Columbus, Ga., on March 29, 2012, and was commissioned as a second lieutenant in the U.S.Army.
Spencer will now attend Quartermaster Basic Officer Leadership Course at Fort Lee, Va., before returning to Fort Benning for Airborne School. He will then attend Aerial Delivery Management Officers Course at Fort Lee.  Spencer will be stationed at Fort Bragg as part of the 82nd Airborne.
Spencer is the son of Brian and Nora Spencer and Barry and Glenda Dyson, all of Salisbury.  
A 2005 graduate of East Rowan High School, Spencer received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a minor in Leadership in 2010 from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington.
