WINSTON-SALEM (AP) — A privately owned Winston-Salem company that processes store coupons and handles recalls plans a headquarters expansion that includes adding about 210 jobs over five years.
Gov. Beverly Perdue’s office said Thursday that Inmar Inc.’s expansion could receive targeted tax breaks of more than $4 million if it meets job and investment targets and continues them for 10 years.
Inmar now employs more than 640 people in Forsyth and Mecklenburg counties and more than 4,200 employees.  The new jobs are expected to pay an average annual salary of nearly $73,000. The Forsyth County average is nearly $42,000.
Inmar began in 1980 as a coupon processing company and now also plans and executes product recalls, handles rebate programs, manages returned goods, and offers supply chain consulting. Its clients are in the retail, pharmaceutical and manufacturing industries.
