CHARLOTTE (AP) — Two people have been shot to death near the University of North Carolina Charlotte.
Police say the shooting happened shortly before 1 a.m. Friday.
Investigators say three men and a woman were at a townhouse when two other men arrived. Police say the men were let inside the townhouse and the shooting happened a short time later
A detective said the shooting was not a random act.
Police have not released the names of the two men who died. The other man and woman in the townhouse were not hurt.
Police have not released information on the suspects.
Authorities have not said if the victims were students.
