Masonic Lodge holding fingerprint, DNA kit collection Saturday at noon
SALISBURY — The Seven Sons Masonic Lodge No. 357 is hosting a fingerprint and DNA kit collection for children Saturday at the Salisbury Civic Center, 315 S. Martin Luther King, Jr. Ave.
The event will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and is free to the public.
The lodge is collaborating the with the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office, which will provide the kits. “The kits are so we are more prepared in case something happens,” said organizer Thomas Cousar.
The kits will have a picture of the child, a fingerprint and sealed DNA swab.
