SALISBURY — Team Chevrolet, 404 Jake Alexander Boulevard S., will host an Easter egg hunt in its showroom Monday to benefit Rowan Helping Ministries.
Children ages 6-11 will hunt at 2 p.m. and children ages 5 and younger will hunt at 2:45 p.m.
Participating children are asked to bring two non-perishable cans of food or boxed starches for the food pantry at Rowan Helping Ministries, which currently has a great need for canned meat and fruit, soup and peanut butter.
One golden egg will be hidden for each hunt and the child who finds the golden egg will receive a prize package from Team Chevrolet, The Sweetest Thing, Critters and Just the Thing.
At the end of each hunt children will return their eggs to Team Chevrolet for a bag of surprises.
