Kannapolis plans events for N.C. Science Festival April 13-29

Kannapolis will host several events as part of the upcoming 2012 North Carolina Science Festival. The N.C. Science Festival, which will be held April 13-29, is a statewide celebration of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). The festival engages a wide range of public audiences through hand-on activities, science talks and more.
More than 15 events will be held in Kannapolis for the N.C. Science Festival. Most events are free and open to the public, though some events do require registration.
Participants include the UNC-Nutrition Research Institute, city of Kannapolis, Rowan-Cabarrus Community College, Kannapolis City Schools, N.C. Research Campus and the Kannapolis branch of the Cabarrus County Public Library.
