SALISBURY — Salisbury Police say an intoxicated teen was charged after a fight between him and his girlfriend resulted in his breaking out a window at his mother’s apartment.
Kameron Lamont Birst, 18, was charged with misdemeanor injury to real property Friday night. He was also issued a citation for drinking under age.
Salisbury Police responded to a disturbance between the teen and his girlfriend at Green Street. Authorities took Birst to his mother’s Clancy Hills Apartment. He went inside, and a few minutes later officers heard glass breaking.
The teen told officers he didn’t mean to break the window.
He was placed in the Rowan County jail under $700 bond and has since been released.
