Report: Woman shuts door on officer's hand

SALISBURY — A Salisbury woman was charged with assaulting a government official after authorities said she shut a car door on an officer’s hand during a traffic stop.
According to a Salisbury Police report, Felicia Eberhardt, of 710 Lakewood Drive, was taken into custody about 10 p.m. Tuesday night.
Officer Karl Boehm wrote in an arrest report that Eberhardt “became irate and eventually shut my fingers in her door.”
Eberhardt’s 2008 Nissan Altima was stopped about 7:30 p.m. at the intersection of Statesville Boulevard and Meadowbrook Road.
She was charged with assault on a government official and released after posting a $500 bond.
