Overnight vehicle break-ins reported near Webb Road
SALISBURY — As many as nine vehicles were broken into within a mile of Interstate 85 Wednesday night.
The vehicles’ owners began reporting the thefts about 6 a.m. Thursday morning, according to Rowan County Sheriff’s Office incident reports.
Nearly $1,200 was taken during the thefts.
Vehicles parked on Kings Terrace, Brookefield Circle and Webb Road were targeted.
Deputies have not said if the break-ins are related. The incidents are all within one mile of Interstate 85.
GPS units, digital cameras and purses were targeted, the reports said.
