The Andrew Jackson Masonic Lodge joined with other area lodges to host the 55th Brunswick stew fundraiser Thursday.
The annual event raises money for charities supported by the masons, including the Masonic Home for Children, White Stone Retirement Home and numerous local organizations including Boy Scouts, Little League baseball, the domestic violence shelter and Hospice.
About 150 masons participated in this year’s event, which increased ticket prices by $1 to $6 per meal. Last year, the organization served more than 4,600.
