China Grove Middle students win speech competition
Five students from China Grove Middle School recently won a speech competition sponsored by the Chaplain’s program at the Veteran’s Administration Medical Center based on the theme: “How has Martin Luther King, Jr.’s speech, ‘I Have A Dream’ impacted my life?” The students presented their speeches on Monday, Jan. 9 in Building 6 at the VA Medical Center. James Wohlgemuth, sixth grade Social Studies teacher, is their sponsoring teacher.
