Friendly dog, tabby cat looking for homes

Dog: This female German shepherd mix is 3 months old and eager to learn. She is extremely sweet, friendly and in need of someone to love her. ID 45323.
Cat: This longhaired orange tabby is a 2-month-old male. He came to us as a stray and is hoping to be adopted into a loving home. ID 45261.
Shelter hours are Monday –Friday, 11 a.m.-4 p.m.; Saturday, 8 a.m.-11 a.m. The shelter is at 1465 Julian Road; 704-216-7768.
The shelter will be closed Saturday through Monday for the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday.
Adoption fee: $70.
