Farm Show in Raleigh Feb. 1-3

RALEIGH — More than 300 exhibitors are expected at the Southern Farm Show, set Feb. 1-3 at the N.C. State Fairgrounds.
That makes it the largest agricultural exposition in the Carolinas and Virginia. The big show is a February tradition at the fairgrounds, drawing farmers and ag leaders from a wide area. 
The event is free and open to the public. Parking also is free. 
SPECIAL events include: 
• 7 a.m. Feb 1: State Sen. David Rouzer will speak at the annual kickoff breakfast, organized and sponsored by the Wake County Agribusiness Council. Rouzer will present “Keeping Agriculture Viable for Future Generations.”  The breakfast will be in the Hunt Horse Area at the NC State Fairgrounds. • 10 a.m. Feb. 2: Future Farmers of America Tractor & Truck Driving Competition, James Hunt Horse Arena.
