Rep. Harry Warren leads two national organizations
Rep. Harry Warren (R-Rowan County), who is currently serving his first term in the N.C. House of Representatives, recently gained recognition by two leading state and national conservative organizations, according to a press release sent this month.
Out of the 120 members in the House, Warren was ranked 54 in ěconservative effectivenessî by the North Carolina Civitas Institute, according to a press release sent by Warrenís office this month.
The Civitas Institute, a private nonprofit research group, annually ranks state House members through a system that is derived by analyzing votes on important legislation.
Warren also was given the ěDefender of Libertyî award for scoring 100 percent on the American Conservative Union (ACU) 2011 State Legislative Rankings, the press release said.
The ACU, a national conservative lobbying group, rated North Carolinaís state legislators based on their analysis of critical issues.
