SALISBURY — Seventy people want to be the city manager of Salisbury.
City Council met in closed session Wednesday to begin considering resumes under the guidance of the city’s contracted search firm, Springsted Incorporated.
The firm received 70 applications from people in 23 states and has been screening the applicants.
“You have a very talented pool of applicants,” said John Anzivino, senior vice president with Springsted, a Richmond, Va.-based recruitment firm. “I think that reflects well on the city of Salisbury and your reputation.”
