Disposition of cases heard the week of Oct. 10, 2011, in Rowan Superior Administrative Court by Judge Robert T. Sumner:
Felony possession of firearm by felon ń Jessica M. Adams, also 15 charges felony breaking or entering a motor vehicle, 15 charges misdemeanor larceny, 10 charges felony financial card theft, two charges felony larceny of a firearm and one charge felony larceny, 14-17 months, jail credit.
Driving while impaired ń Crystal Renae Borja, 120 days, suspended, 18 months unsupervised probation, serve three days in jail, jail credit, not drive in North Carolina until licensed to do so, pay court cost and $100 fine, jail fees and $800 court-appointed attorney fee to be entered as civil judgments, also possession of open container/consuming alcohol in passenger area, responsible, court cost waived.
Attempted trafficking in opium or heroin ń Shelley Nicole Burgess, also three charges felony embezzling controlled substance by employee, 13-16 months, suspended, 36 months supervised probation, six months intensive probation, perform community service work and pay fee, keep and obtain employment, submit to body testing, to be assessed for drugs and alcohol abuse if tests positive, not go on or about premises of Rite Aid, not be in the practice of a pharmacy technician in North Carolina until licensed to do so, pay court cost, provide DNA sample, probation to be transferred to Davidson County, also second charge attempted trafficking in opium or heroin, 13-16 months at expiration of first sentence, suspended, 36 months supervised probation, six months intensive probation to run concurrently with intensive probation in first judgment, abide by same terms and conditions as in first judgment; Timothy Lee Hamilton, also felony possession with intent to sell/deliver cocaine and felony possession of marijuana, 25-30 months, jail credit, civil judgment to be entered for $449.06 restitution to Walmart, court recommends DART program and work release if eligible, contraband seized to be destroyed, also three charges driving while license revoked, order of remand in all three cases.
Felony breaking and/or entering ń Bobby Earl Crayton, also felony larceny after breaking/entering, prayer for judgment continued for six months.
Felony possession of firearm by felon ń Kareem Jamal Horton, three charges, also felony maintaining vehicle/dwelling/place to keep a controlled substance, dismissal without leave by district attorney.
Misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia ń Jason Emmanuel Roebuck, order of remand.
Felony sex offender employment violation ń Coy Daniel Sheets, also misdemeanor sexual battery, 19-23 months, suspended, 36 months supervised probation, six months intensive probation, abide by regular probation conditions, have no contact with victim or go on premises of victim, provide DNA sample, follow all conditions of sex offender control program, register as sex offender for remainder of his natural life.
Felony breaking or entering a motor vehicle ń Jessica Maria Quick, two charges, also two charges misdemeanor larceny, judgment consistent with earlier sentence.
