DAYTON, Ohio ó Chris Braswell scored 22 points and Charlotte defeated Wright State 70-66 on Saturday night.
The 49ers shot 55.8 percent (24 of 43) from the field in the win.
DeMario Mayfield added 14 points and Jamar Briscoe had 13 from the bench for Charlotte. Javarris Barnett helped Charlotte outrebound Wright State 34-29 by grabbing 10 boards.
Charlotte (3-2) opened the game with two Braswell buckets and a Derrio Green 3-pointer to take a 7-0 lead before Julius Mays hit a 3-pointer of his own to get Wright State on the board.
