Police found cocaine and marijuana on Wednesday after they went to serve warrants on a Salisbury man for failing to appear in court on cocaine charges.
According to Salisbury Police, officers arrested Edwin Morris Hobson II and Jacqueline Christyn Pence at Hobson’s 733 Wilson Road home at about 10:30 a.m.
As officers arrested Hobson, they found 2 grams of marijuana and about a gram of cocaine in the home, the report said. Authorities reported that they found some in a box in the living room, along with several glass pipes. Authorities also said they found some drugs in a black shoe that officers believe belongs to the 24-year-old Pence.
They were both charged with felony possession of cocaine, misdemeanor possession of marijuana and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.
Pence, 230 Pinevale Drive, was given a $7,500 bond. Hobson, 53, was given a $19,000 bond. Both were in jail Thursday morning.
