The Usher Board of Southern City Tabernacle AME Zion Church will celebrate its 89th anniversary at 3 p.m. today at the church.
The Rev. James Milton, pastor of Pleasant Grove AME Zion Church, Concord, will deliver the message. He brings with him the choir, ushers and congregation of that church. The Senior Ushers of Southern City will be recognized as the recipients of the program dedication.
Southern City Tabernacle AME Zion Church is located at 940 S. Long St., East Spencer. The Rev. Thomas D. Lee is the pastor.
