Rockwell man charged in drug sting

ROCKWELL — Authorities charged a man Friday with multiple drug offenses following an undercover investigation.
After an undercover officer bought marijuana from Ronnie Seymour, 42, the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Unit got a search warrant for his home at 154 Mallard Lane, the agency reported.
Investigators seized 3 marijuana plants found growing inside the home and about 6 ounces of marijuana, the report said.
Seymour is charged with two counts of possession with intent to sell and distribute marijuana; felony sale and delivery of marijuana; felony manufacturing marijuana; and maintaining a dwelling to keep, store and sell controlled substances, all felonies. He is also charged with misdemeanor communicating threats.
Seymour remained in the Rowan County jail Friday evening under $25,500 bond.
