nLast week: A.L. Brown smashed Hickory Ridge 47-0 in a game that was over after the first quarter. Northwest had no trouble with Central Cabarrus, putting up its biggest offensive numbers of the season in a 55-12 romp.
nNext week: The Wondersí schedule is loaded toward the back end. They play Concord at home next. Northwest finishes at home against new rival Cox Mill.
nGame notes: Northwest is a competent team that has taken care of business against the bottom of the SPC. The lone league loss for the Trojans was a hard-fought one with Concord.
QB Colby Williford gives the Cougars a passing threat. Jalen Caldwell is a solid running back. Shrine Bowl pick and Clemson commitment Bradley Pinion puts his kickoffs in the end zone, but the Trojans arenít likely to kick off often tonight.
A.L. Brown is back at full strength with the return of Shrine Bowl back Damien Washington, and the Wonders have been an offensive buzz-saw just about all season.
