Correction
The Rowan County Board of Commissioners did not to ask the planning department to research other countiesí firearm ordinances for the board during Mondayís meeting. Commissioner Raymond Coltrainís motion failed without a second. An article in Tuesdayís Post incorrectly reported the decision.
