KANNAPOLIS — An early morning fire has forced a family from their home.
The Kannapolis Fire Department responded to a call at 910 Aggie St. just after 2 a.m. today.
Firefighters found flames coming from the rear of the house and extinguished the blaze.
No one was injured in the fire, but the family has been moved to temporary housing with the help of the American Red Cross.
Cabarrus County EMS provided medical monitoring for the firefighters. The Landis and Odell fire departments assisted Kannapolis with district coverage.
The fire is still under investigation.
