Rufty Free Engagement

Karen Rufty and Mr. and Mrs. Mark Rufty, all of Salisbury, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Nicole Kristin Rufty, to Alex Spencer Free, also of Salisbury.
The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Rachel Rufty of Salisbury and step-granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Johnson of Statesville. A 2007 graduate of East Rowan High School, Nicole graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with concentration in Marketing. A dean’s list student and member of Sigma Alpha Lambda Honor Society, she is employed by CVS Pharmacy.
The future groom is the son of Timothy and Patricia Free of Salisbury and the grandson of Bronley and Peggie Free of Red Lion, Pa., Linda Diehl of York, Pa., and Betty Monroe of Salisbury. A 2007 graduate of East Rowan High School, Alex received a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from UNCC in 2011. He is employed by C.R. Onsrud in Troutman.
The wedding is Dec. 3 at First Presbyterian Church in Salisbury.
