Hall Robeson Wedding

CHARLESTON, S.C. — Jennifer Alane Hall and Mark David Robeson were united in marriage on Saturday, Sept. 3, 2011, at 5:30 p.m. at Summerall Chapel at The Citadel. The Rev. Tom Kakadelis of Forest Hill Church in Charlotte officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Hunt Broyhill of Lenoir and Charlotte and Mr. and Mrs. Carl Wells Hall, III, also of Charlotte. She is the granddaughter of Nevada Ludwig Rabon and the late Luther Calvin Rabon and the late Mr. and Mrs. Carl Wells Hall, Jr., all of Salisbury.  
Jennifer “Jenny” earned a B.S. degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an M.S. degree from Winthrop University. She holds a Registered Dietician certification and a Certified Diabetes Educator designation. She is a Senior Develop?ment Specialist at International HIFU, LLC, in Charlotte.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Earl Robeson of Asheville. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Linton Hugh Robeson of Canton. Mark earned a B.S. degree in business administration from The Citadel and is President and CEO of Global Microfinance Partners, LLC.
Escorted by her father, the bride wore a fitted silk faille gown with a full sweep at the hem. It featured a hand-pleated silk taffeta fan detailing at the back bodice, a full train and a belt of Swarovski crystals and freshwater pearls.  
She was preceded down the aisle by Matron of Honor Alice Culpepper of Wilmington and bridal attendants Karrie Lesser, cousin of the bride from Marietta, Ga.; Jennings Dixon, Mary Claudia Pilon, Terrie Reeves and Katie O’Connor, all of Charlotte; CeCe Pettry of Atlanta, Ga.; and Alicia Colgan of Stafford, Va. Stephanie Brown from Raleigh and Vanessa Bishop of Concord served as Honorary Bridesmaids. Flower Girl was Isabel Culpepper of Wilmington, and ring bearers were Andrew and Matthew Robeson, sons of the groom.
The groom’s father served as Best Man.  Groomsmen included Christopher Hall, brother of the bride, of Raleigh; Dan Dehaenen and Eric Dudley of Charlotte; Trey Edwards, Rob Mims and Bill Nixon of Charleston, S.C.; and Stephen Stubley of Columbia, S.C. Usher was Rhett Summers of Washington, D.C.
Musicians Mark Bebensee, organist; Greg Schoonover, trumpeter; and Christian Broyhill, soloist, provided wedding selections. The Rev. Lisa Nelson and Eric Dudley, both of Charlotte, shared scripture readings.
Prior to the wedding, the groom’s parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at the Mills House in Charleston. Following the ceremony, the bride’s parents hosted a reception dinner at The Cassique Club at Kiawah Island, S.C. The band Black and Blue played music for dancing.
After a honeymoon in St Lucia, the couple will reside in Charlotte.
