Today’s high is expected to be around 82 and Friday’s around 77, the National Weather Service predicts.
Friday night, things get much cooler with a low around 47 degrees.
After a chilly start, Saturday will end up a nice, sunny fall day for the festival and other events going on around the area, including Day Out with Thomas at the N.C. Transportation Museum and Salisbury Parks and Recreation’s Junk in Your Trunk Sale at the Civic Center. The day’s high will be about 64 degrees. It will be a bit breezy, with winds around 15 mph.
Lows will remain in the 40s for several days, with highs gradually climbing to the mid-70s by the middle of next week.
