SALISBURY — Another teenager has been charged in connection with the homicide of Rigoberto Angeles-Resendiz on Aug. 31.
Andrina Jamir Walker, 17, of 800 Mooresville Road, is accused of using a gun to threaten and attempt to rob the 21-year-old Kannapolis man, who died from a gunshot wound to the head.
Walker, who identifies herself as a Salisbury High School senior on her Facebook profile, is charged with conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon and attempted robbery with a dangerous weapon. She is being held in the Rowan County Detention Center on $100,000 bond.
Salisbury police say Walker and an unnamed minor child conspired with Quamaine Deshawn Patterson, 18, to rob Angeles-Resendiz on Aug. 31. Walker possessed and threatened to use a 9 mm handgun during the attempted robbery, according to the arrest report.
Patterson was indicted earlier this month by a Rowan County grand jury for first-degree murder.
He turned himself in to authorities a day after Angeles-Resendiz was found dead in his car on Foster Lane, off Morlan Park Road, by elementary school students waiting for a bus.
Walker is scheduled to appear in court Monday.
