A Salisbury man received a sixth felony charge on Wednesday after Salisbury Police reported they found drugs during a failure to appear arrest.
According to a Salisbury Police arrest report, Jesse Ray Bouldin, who listed his address as the streets of Salisbury, was initially charged with failing to appear in court on misdemeanor larceny charges, but after being taken to jail, officers found eight pills of Alprazolam “in the undershorts of Bouldin.”
Bouldin, 29, also had active warrants in Davie County, including charges of felony identity theft, felony breaking and entering, felony larceny and felony obtaining property by false pretenses. He was additionally charged with felony possession of narcotics on jail premises for the Alprazolam.
Bouldin was given a $42,000 bond and was still in jail Thursday morning. He is scheduled to be in court today and will be in Davie County court on Oct. 31 on the felony charges.
