About 650 volunteers are spread out around 50 worksites in Rowan County today for the annual United Way Day of Caring.
Volunteers are doing everything from spreading mulch to building a greenhouse at Corriher-Lipe Middle School to clearing out a walking trial at Isenberg Elementary.
