The Granite Quarry Civitan Club, chartered Nov. 2, 1945, will celebrate its 66th birthday Nov. 3. Expected to be on hand is 99-year-old charter member Claude Lyerly, who will turn 100 the next day. Lyerly has remained active in the club throughout its history and continues to attend meetings.
