East Spencer man accused of selling marijuana

SALISBURY — An 18-year-old East Spencer man was charged late Thursday night after police say he was found with .92 ounces of marijuana in plastic bags.
According to a report, Salisbury Police stopped Tylajwon Torrence, 305 Mitchell St., East Spencer, after seeing him run a stop sign on his red mo-ped.
While Officer D.R. Lancaster spoke to Torrence, the report said, and asked to search the man and found two baggies of marijuana containing 26 grams. The officer also found $545 in cash.
Torrence was charged with felony possession of marijuana with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver. He was given a $2,500 bond.
