A daughter, Evan Grace, was born to Grant and Amber Smith Hinson of Rockwell on July 25, 2011, at Carolinas Medical Center NorthEast. She weighed 7 pounds, 14 ounces. She has a brother, Asher, 20 mos. Grandparents are Lynn and Lori Smith of Rockwell and Bob and Sheila Hinson of New London.
Rory Ulrich
A son, Vernard Roy IV, was born to Roy and Rebecca Ulrich on Aug. 12, 2011 at Rowan Regional Medical Center. He weighed 8 pounds, 1 ounce. He has a sister, Autumn, 11. Grandparents are Vernard ěRoyî and Alicia Ulrich of Spencer and Karen Cress Overcash of Winston-Salem.
Zechariah Overly
A son, Zechariah Steven, was born to Nicholas and Stephanie Wagner Overly of Salisbury on Aug. 22, 2011, at Lake Norman Regional Hospital. He weighed 7 pounds, 11 ounces. He has two brothers, Isaiah, 6, Micah, 3, and a sister, Chloe, 1. Grandparents are Steven and Mary Wagner of Rockwell, Daniel and Tammy Bunch of Grafton, Ohio and Sheila Sugg of Charlotte. Great-grandparent is Ruby Felts Pennington of Salisbury.
David Tyson
A son, David Wade, was born to William and Ellen Everhart Tyson of Salisbury on Aug. 25, 2011, at Carolinas Medical Center NorthEast. He weighed 9 pounds, 1 ounce. He has a brother, William Jr., 2, and a sister, Nancy, 18. Grandparents are David and Rosetta Everhart of Creston, formerly of China Grove, Nancy Tyson of Salisbury and the Rev. William and Vanessa Tyson of Newport, Tenn.
