Smith – Brendle Wedding

THOMASVILLE — Sally Jane Smith and Josh Lee Brendle, both of Winston-Salem, were united in marriage Saturday, Sept. 10, 2011, at 12 West Main.
The Rev. Franklin Myers officiated the 5:30 p.m. ceremony, which was followed by a reception.
The bride was escorted by her father, Robert Smith, and attended by her sister, Katie Smith of Salisbury, as maid of honor. Her bridesmaids included Jessica Honeycutt, Caitlin Moore and Michelle Paratore, all of Salisbury, Amanda Avant of Summerfield and Leah Brendle of Wallburg.
Ricky Brendle stood as his son’s best man. Serving as groomsmen were brother of the groom Wesley Brendle, Brandon Swaim, John Everhart, Brent Pope and Dustin Butner, all of Wallburg.
Layla Brendle was flower girl, and Joshua Brendle was ring bearer. Both are of Winston-Salem. Serving as guest registrars were Mrs. Tammy Brown, Ms. Angela Cheek and Ms. Kelly Cheek.
The bride is the daughter of Robert and Patricia Smith and the granddaughter of Sue and the late Jerry Smith and the late Jimmy and Janice Brown, all of Salisbury. A 2009 graduate of North Rowan High School, Sally received a diploma in Pharmacy Tech from Davidson County Community College in 2011. She is a pharmacy technician with Hospice and Palliative Care in Winston-Salem.
The groom is the son of Ricky and Jill Brendle and the grandson of Aubrey and the late Inge Lawson, the late Bill Brendle Sr. and the late Vivian Westmoreland, all of Wallburg. A 2007 graduate of Ledford High School, Josh is a firefighter with the City of Winston-Salem.
Following a cruise to the Caribbean, the couple will make their home in Winston-Salem.                          R131589
