Man charged with forging prescription

SALISBURY — A Salisbury man was held on a $50,000 bond on a charge of forging a prescription for hydrocodone.
Chad Edward Honeycutt, 33, 405 Heilig Ave., is charged with obtaining a controlled substance by fraud, attempted trafficking in opiates by possession and resisting a public officer.
According to arrest records, Honeycutt is charged with presenting a forged prescription for 180 hydrocodone tablets at Innes Street Drug Co., 112 S. Main St. on Aug. 31.
Honeycutt’s first appearance in District Court is scheduled for 9 a.m. today.
