$16,000 worth of scrap metal stolen

The Rowan County Sheriffís Office charged five Salisbury residents with felony larceny Saturday in connection with the theft of scrap metal worth more than $16,000 from a home on Old Beatty Ford Road in Gold Hill.
Here is a summary of the arrests:
Richard Lynn Holshouser, 39, of 1125 Zebulon Lane, has been charged with five counts of breaking and entering a motor vehicle, four counts of felony larceny and two counts of misdemeanor larceny. His bond is $25,000.
Nicholas Edward Overly, 31, of Salisbury, has been charged with six counts of breaking and entering a motor vehicle, four counts of felony larceny and two counts of misdemeanor larceny. His bond is $25,000.
Kelli Marie Norman, 21, of 570 St. Matthews Church Road has been charged with felony larceny. Her bond is $2,500.
Wesley Adam Privett, 19, of 570 St. Matthew Church, has been charged with felony larceny. His bond is $1,500.
Wendy Morton Holshouser, 37, of 1125 Zebulon Lane, has been charged with felony larceny and felony larceny of a motor vehicle. Her bond is $10,000.
