Police: Felon had drugs, handgun

Following a Tuesday search of a home on Bringle Ferry Road, Salisbury Police have charged a man with drug and weapons charges.
The Salisbury Police Department’s Vice and Narcotics Unit got a search warrant for 1017 Bringle Ferry Road, Lot 13 and report finding .6 grams of crack cocaine, a Bryco 9 mm handgun, drug paraphernalia and $181 in cash.
Aundrey David-Dwayne Blakeney, 32, was charged with felony possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver a Schedule II controlled substance, felony possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession of drug paraphernalia. Blakeney has a first appearance today; bond was set at $20,000.
