Lewis completes Air Force basic training

Lewis completes Air Forcebasic training
Air Force Airman James C. Lewis graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas.
The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.
Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.
The son of Peggy Lewis of Salisbury, Lewis graduated in 2006 from West Rowan High School, Mount Ulla, and received an associate degree in 2008 from Living Arts College, Raleigh.
