Fifteen Division of Motor Vehicles driver license offices will be closed for one-day training either on Thursday, Sept. 8 or on Friday, Sept. 9. The closures will be for one day only; all offices will re-open on the following business day at 8 a.m.
Offices closing on Thursday, Sept. 8 are in West Charlotte, Gastonia, North Charlotte, Mount Holly, Salisbury, Mooresville, Thomasville and Mocksville.
Offices closing on Friday, Sept. 9 are located in South Charlotte, Lincolnton, East Charlotte, Concord, Lexington, Statesville and Asheboro.
Other activities scheduled at these offices, such as hearings or school bus training, will continue to be held. Customers are urged to call in advance of the closings with any questions.
