Beaver – Christian Engagement

Charles and Sheena Beaver of Kannapolis are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Alisha Ann Beaver, to Edwin James Christian of Statesville.
The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Joy Koontz of Salisbury, Melvin Koontz of Granite Quarry and the late Charles and Hessie Beaver of Rockwell. A 2002 graduate of South Rowan High School and 2006 graduate of the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, Alisha is employed by the Rowan-Salisbury School System.
The future groom is the son of Robert and Midge Frantz of Concord and George Christian of Winter Park, Fla. He is the grandson of Edward and the late Adele Tucker of Watkins Glen, N.Y., Dorthy Frantz of Maitland, Fla., Gerald and Cheryl Frantz of Lady Lake, Fla., and the late Maria and Guillermo Christian of Puerto ?Rico. A 2001 graduate of Northwest Cabarrus High School, Eddie also studied at Rowan-Cabarrus Community College. He is employed by Time Warner Cable.
The couple will marry Oct. 15 at Gold Hill Historic Mine Park in Gold Hill.
