Several thousand in tools taken from garage

KANNAPOLIS ó A Kannapolis man lost more than $17,000 in tools from his garage after a burglary early Friday morning.
According to a Rowan County Sheriffís incident report, 44-year-old Cornelius Davis Jr. contacted authorities at about 8 a.m. after finding the lock to his garage was damaged and $17,050 in wrenchs, ratchets and sockets were gone.
The incident occurred at Davisí home near Unity Church Road in Kannapolis.
The Rowan County Sheriffís Office is investigating. No arrests have been made.
